Eating Out in Hungary
There are a number of restaurants in Hungary, which offer the traditional food of this country. There is very little choice for vegetarian people in Hungary. Most of the dishes in Hungary are topped with meat and hence there are limited options for vegetarian people. More of the vegetarian food can be found in the international restaurants in Hungary.
There are both reasonable and expensive restaurants in Hungary. Most of the dishes served here are meat dishes along with paprika and are usually very spicy. There is a set menu for the lunch since it is the most important meal of the day. However, the price could vary in the evening from one eating joint to another. Etterem is considered to be a restaurant in true sense, while Vendeglo is looked upon more as a Bistro. Besides, one could even find a number of roadside eating joints.
Most of the restaurants in Hungary close down by 10 pm, as dinner is not considered that important and people are back home early.
