Entry and Customs in Hungary
Hungary is a part of Schengen group consisting of a number of European countries and there are relaxed rules for entry to Hungary from nationals belonging to any of these countries.
US citizens do not require a visa for travel to Hungary up to 90 days, while British nationals can stay without visa for six months.
When entering Hungary you are permitted to bring 250 cigarettes, 1 liter of spirit and 2 liters of wine duty free.
Though, you can bring in unlimited amount of money into Hungary, you cannot carry more than a million Forints out of the country when you are leaving.
